Bill aims to prohibit Board of Regents from implementing most gun rules

HELENA — After a close vote Wednesday, the Senate passed a measure Thursday to allow guns on college campuses. Click here to read more.

The bill from Republican Cary Smith of Billings gained one vote overnight and passed with a 26-to-23 vote.

The bill goes next to the House and if it passes, it would prohibit the Board of Regents from implementing most gun rules.
