Cold air has finally, fully made its way out of Montana.

Temperatures statewide range from the mid 30s to as warm as 50 degrees Tuesday afternoon.

Mild weather is expected to continue.

Lows Tuesday night will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s, with some cooler temperatures in the upper teens in Northeast Montana.

Wednesday will be slightly cooler, with highs topping out in the mid 40s behind a weak cold front.

The cold front and it's associated low pressure system will bring us some snow and stronger winds, too.

The snow will be confined to the mountains, with not much accumulation.

Still, 1 to 3 inches will be possible near Marias Pass.

The wind will be more impactful.

Wind gusts of 50 to 60 miles per hour will be possible Tuesday night into Wednesday along the Rocky Mountain Front.

Farther east, wind gusts are more likely to be in the 30 to 40 mile per hour range.
