A pair of arrests have been made in connection with a recent Ravalli County hit-and-run case .
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Adam Gane says an anonymous tip led to the discovery of the vehicle and that two arrests have been made in connection with the case.
The incident -- which was described as a serious hit and run crash -- happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 on US Highway 93 South near Woodside Crossing.
Gane noted in a news release that the "case would have likely gone unsolved without the amazing support from the community."
The Montana Highway Patrol is also thanking "everyone who called and emailed with tips and possible sightings."
The names of those involved in the hit-and-run incident have not been released.
