2 bodies found in Missoula County have been identified

Authorities have released the names of the two people whose bodies were found on Saturday in Missoula County.

Missoula County Sheriff/Coroner TJ McDermott says that the body of Robert Louis Foshag of Missoula, 59 years old, was found in an irrigation ditch off of South Fourth Street.

The Missoula Police Department is still investigating the case and the body was taken to the Montana State Crime Lab so that an autopsy can be performed.

Sheriff McDermott also said that Jeremiah Colin Spotted Blanket of St. Ignatius, 34, has been identified as the man whose body was found in a field near the old Smurfit Stone plant in the Frenchtown area.

The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the incident and Spotted Blanket's body has been taken to the Montana State Crime Lab so that an autopsy can be performed.

Sheriff McDermott notes that there is currently no evidence connecting these two investigations.
