Over the past few days, community leaders and military members have participated in a statewide disaster drill.
Vigilant Guard officially began Friday morning when a hypothetical 7.5 earthquake hit near Hebgen Dam.
Over the last few days, the exercise simulated dam failures leading all the way up to Great Falls.
During the exercise, crews conducted search and rescue scenarios near the Helena Airport.
On Tuesday, a mock chemical spill was held at the Westgate Mall in Great Falls and helicopters medevaced to the Montana Air National Guard.
Crews then boarded C-17s and C-130s that took off for Billings, Kalispell, and Missoula.
The goal of the exercise was to make sure the plans put in place will keep Montanans safe if something does happen in the future.
Now, officials will review the exercise and discuss improvements and lessons learned.
