The Forsyth man who allegedly shot his son-in-law as he was arguing with his wife has been charged.
Lloyd McIntosh, 74, is facing one count of assault with a weapon, Rosebud County Sheriff Allen Fulton said Friday.
Fulton said the man McIntosh allegedly shot has since been released from the hospital.
The 56-year-old victim was fighting with his wife Wednesday night and the dispute involved a gun, according to Fulton.
During the altercation, McIntosh allegedly intervened and exchanged gunfire with his son-in-law.
The victim was struck in the leg by a bullet. He drove himself to the hospital and was then taken to Billings for treatment of his injury.
McIntosh is being held on a $50,000 bond.
