Several fire crews have contained a house fire in Sun River along Highway 200 on Sunday.
According to Sun River Fire Chief Randy Thompson, a call came in around 2 p.m. that a fire had started in the laundry room of a residence.
The people inside evacuated and no injuries have been reported.
Thompson said the fire spread to one bedroom but the house is not a total loss.
He expected fire crews to remain on scene for at least two more hours.
As of 3:30 p.m., traffic on Highway 200 was still being rerouted around the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Responding fire departments included Sun River, Sun Prairie, Simms, Vaughn, Fort Shaw, and Fairfield.
