The Carroll College Enactus club is partnering with Helena Food Share to help fill the Bruin Pantry for kids in need.

The club will host a food drive during the women and men’s basketball games against Montana Tech on Wednesday, February 7th.

The food raised will go to help the Bruin Pantry, which provides supplemental resources to students in need such as food bags, toiletries, and school supplies.

Club president Jessica Schmitz said the club thinks it’s great supporting the community they’ve moved into.

“None of us are obviously from Helena, we’re all just students at Carroll, but we’ve moved into this community and we want to help,” Schmitz said.

The food drive is part of the club’s “Helena Hunger” project that they will present at the Enactus Regional Competition in April.
