A scattered snow shower could occur this afternoon with the passage of a cold front. Temperatures will drop this afternoon as a result of the front, bringing tonight's lows in the teens, single digits, and below zero across the state.
Temperatures remain cooler on Thursday, but warming up again for Friday, just in time for some precipitation.
The STORMTracker Weather Team says the next weathermaker is on its way Friday to bring in rain/snow on Friday and widespread snow on Saturday and Sunday. There will be travel problems due to the slick roads. Accumulations will be updated as we get closer to the weekend. Temperatures will also plummet Saturday with highs in the single digits and lows below zero in some places. Chances of snow remain high for the start of the work week next week.
