The United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area was presented with a check for $24,650 from First Interstate Bank to support their work in the community.

Employees raised $7,700, which was matched by the bank and its foundation.

According to Brenden Craig of First Interstate, they’re proud to support the United Way and the critical service the organization provides to the community.

United Way of the Lewis and Clark Area Director of Development and Marketing Dana Friede said donations make up a huge portion of the support the organization receives from the community.

“We’re just really excited and happy to be able to partner with so many people and organizations in the community to really make this a better place for everybody to live,” Friede said.

Friede added that they're short more than $100,000 of meeting their $775,000 fundraising goal for the year.
