Held annually in Lewistown, the Montana Winter Fair is a celebration of agriculture, livestock, and the "western way of life.”
The event website provides this overview:
In the dead of winter, the 3rd week of January, ranchers and farmers have a brief reprieve before calving and lambing begins. At a time when snow often blankets the world-famous grasslands of our Big Sky Country, winter wheat is sprouting and everything on four legs is carrying a baby. Life is silently growing! The earth is renewing its energy. Montanans are pausing to celebrate the agricultural lifestyle we love! Come and join your neighbors this year at the 66th Montana Winter Fair......it’s a great cure for cabin fever!
