Billy Keith Rosten has been charged with embezzlement in Great Falls after he reportedly stole $18,535.34 from his employer.
Court documents state that Rosten was hired as the general manager of the 1st Avenue Body Shop in 2014, and was terminated from that position in June 2017 after financial discrepancies were reported.
According to charging documents, Rosten made numerous purchases using the business account, and the investigation determined that some of the purchased items had been used on Rosten's personal vehicle.
In addition, Rosten allegedly used the auto shop's Amazon account to buy items and had them shipped directly to his residence.
The court documents also allege that Rosten used the business account to buy items at a pawn shop without permission.
In addition, the court documents allege that some customer accounts of the auto shop had discrepancies, such as some items never showing up as paid in the system, despite the customer claiming that the account had been paid in cash to Rosten.
The amount of money and value of products allegedly embezzled by Rosten total $18,535.34, according to the court documents.
Rosten is charged with one felony count of embezzlement.
