(GREAT FALLS) Allen Jerome Johansen, 36 years old, has been charged with his fifth DUI offense after several people reported him for driving all over the road on Sunday.
According to court documents, the Montana Highway Patrol responded to reports of a drunk driver in Cascade County.
The MHP trooper found the vehicle and identified the driver as Johansen.
A strong odor of alcohol was present in the vehicle and Johansen's eyes were bloodshot and glassy.
Johansen performed poorly on field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample, according to court documents.
His license had been revoked and he could not provide proof of registration or insurance.
Johansen was charged with one felony count of driving under the influence of alcohol, and three misdemeanors. including operating a vehicle with expired registration, driving with suspended/revoked license, and no insurance.
He has four DUI convictions.
The State requested a $5,000 bond, and that Johansen begin active alcohol monitoring.
