The number of flu-related deaths in Montana continues to rise.
According to the weekly flu report from the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services, there have been 18 deaths in Montana attributed to influenza this season.
All but two have been adults over the age of 65.
State-wide, DPHHS says that 304 people have been hospitalized because of the flu.
The counties with the most confirmed cases last week were Flathead County with 89 confirmed cases; Lewis & Clark County with 59 cases; and Cascade County with 41.
