In Helena, the second Saturday of each month people can get a tour of the original governors mansion for free.

During the tour on Saturday, people were able to view and learn about WWI artifacts - which coincides with the WWI display currently at the Montana Historical Society museum.

The governors' mansion displayed photos of past Montana's governor, Stewart, and this three daughters, people learned about how they did their part in helping with the war and home life in Helena.

"There's a lot of opportunities for my visitors to remember some of their family histories, today I had a 13yr old boy tell me all about his family and how they came through the wars, I was glad to see that family preserve their stories but other families haven't, so coming to the mansion with their grandparents and parents bring back a lot of peoples memories", said Bobi Harris, Historic Interpreter for the State of Montana Historical Society.
