The winter weather that welcomed 2018 is still causing problems in northern Montana.
Browning Public Schools announced on Facebook on Tuesday evening that school is canceled on Wednesday.
Administration apologized for the inconvenience but said the cancellation was for safety reasons.
They're hoping to give plows more time to work and to resume school on Thursday.
Blackfeet Early Childhood Center also announced on Tuesday that due to a state of emergency on the Blackfeet Reservation and in Browning, school has been canceled for the Early Childhood Center and outlying centers for Wednesday.
The Center's post thanks parents for their patience and thanks emergency services and plow drivers.
They added that school will resume when it is safe for students and staff to return.
Heart Butte Schools announced on Facebook that school is also canceled on Wednesday; however, staff does need to be at work at 8 a.m.
According to reports, the high school classes are being moved out of trailers and back into the school.
The elementary portion is being moved back to their side because all the recent construction work has been finished.
