Man dies in farming accident in Teton County

Martin Wilde died in farming accident on Saturday, according to the Teton County Sheriff's Office.

It happened just before 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11th.

Wilde was 61 years old.

Teton County Undersheriff & Deputy Coroner Steve Gjerde says that Wilde was attempting to load a face tractor with a farm implement attached onto a trailer.

The tractor tipped off the trailer and landed on him, causing blunt force trauma to his chest.

It happened near the intersection of Highways 408 and 287.

Responding agencies included the Teton County Sheriff's Office, Choteau ambulance, Fairfield Fire Department, as well as a Lewis & Clark County Sheriff's deputy and a MT FWP game warden that was in the area.
