(HELENA) Nicholas Vinson has been accused of breaking into a home in violation of a no-contact order.

Vinson, 20 years old, is charged with felony burglary in connection with an incident that happened in late October.

He allegedly entered a Helena residence through a window and locked himself in a master bedroom.

He then texted the homeowner, who has a court order of protection against Vinson, asking the petitioner to talk.

Vinson was eventually convinced to leave the residence by other people who were at the home at the time.

Vinson is also accused of repeatedly attempting to contact the petitioner by phone.

Court documents say Vinson’s criminal history includes a pending charge of partner/family member assault and other pending no contact order violations.

According to ConWeb, Vinson also has a conviction for criminal endangerment.

Bond for Vinson was set at $20,000.

Vinson was charged with felony strangulation in September; click here for details.
