(HELENA) Jheri Hildenbrand and Jessica Reynolds are helping their students to better resolve conflicts.
That’s why they’re this week’s One Class at a Time winner.
First Interstate Bank and KXLH recently surprised the two teachers at Rossiter Elementary School with a $250 check.
The teachers plan on using the money to implement the Zones of Regulation at the school.
Zones of Regulation are a way for students to learn to regulate behaviors and solve social problems and conflicts with others.
Mrs. Reynolds says this is a great program that their proud to introduce to the school.
“Have a program that teaches students how to refocus their minds and solve those problems that come up from day to day to day really help them become better learners,” said Reynolds.
Both teachers thanked the community for their support and are proud to use this new opportunity to better the lives of their students.
