A free shuttle service will be available this weekend for hikers, bikers, or people enjoying Helena’s trail system.
Trail Rider will provide free shuttle services for the 4th Annual Bike Helena Shuttle Fest, which kicked off today.
The shuttle will leave from the Women's Mural downtown and go to Mount Helena, Mount Ascension, and the Continental Divide trail on MacDonald Pass.
The organization is hoping people will donate $10 or more during the event to help fund the program.
Bike Helena Community Outreach Director Jennifer Davis said the shuttle is the perfect way to introduce people to Trail Rider and promote Helena as a mountain biking destination.
“We’d love to have new people out on the Trail Rider,” Davis said. “It’s a great resource if someone wants to hike, mountain bike, run, just explore the trail system.”
Shuttle Fest will also offer free shuttle rides from downtown to the Montana Brewers Summer Rendezvous on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
