Fire destroys trailer in Sun River; no injuries reported

SUN RIVER -

Firefighters were dispatched to a trailer fire in the community of Sun River.

The fire was reported just before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

There have been no reports of any injuries.

A neighbor said that a man lives in the trailer, but was not inside at the time.

Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to any nearby buildings.

Responding fire agencies included Sun River, Vaughn, Gore Hill, Sun Prairie, Manchester, and Black Eagle.

The Salvation Army of Great Falls also dispatched its "Sally One" truck to provide firefighters with water and refreshments.

Authorities do not yet know the dollar amount of damage caused.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

The fire was reported just before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Initial reports indicate that the fire may involve a trailer home, and it may be on or near Choteau Street.

Thick, black smoke can be seen all the way from Great Falls.

There are no reports of injuries at this time.

We do not yet know what caused the fire.
