Cory Lee Kendall, who was originally connected to a Missing/Endangered Person Advisory issued out by the Montana Department of Justice earlier, this week is behind bars.
Kendall, 43 years old, is facing a felony charge of endangering the welfare of children.
He's being held on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Missoula Justice Court on Friday afternoon.
Kendall was listed by the Montana DOJ as a "person of interest" in the alert that was issued for 17-year old Lacey Marie Moore.
Moore called 911 on Wednesday morning reporting that she was being held at gunpoint in Missoula.
She was later found safe.
Authorities initially thought that Moore might have been in the company of Kendall, who was found early Thursday morning.
The Missoula Police Department was called to the 1600 block of Milwaukee Way just before 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday for reports of a gunshot.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
