Triangle Classic Kids' Camp a blast for kids and players alike

GREAT FALLS -

While the Triangle Classic is known for its Saturday scrimmage and its huge fundraiser on Friday night, what might be the best part of the weekend is squeezed in between those two events: The annual Kids’ Camp.

"I'm an elementary ed major, so that's kind of my life,” said MSU Tight End Austin Barth. “It's great spending time with them, getting them to love the Bobcats. It's a great opportunity for us too. They're coming out and having fun. We don't get to spend that much time with them, but it's good to see that connection we build with them."

The campers go from one position group to another, learning techniques and running drills for that specific position.

The hope is make a real impression on the kids since they're learning these techniques from real football players.

But the campers aren't the only ones these players made an impression on this year.

"The Kids’ Camp was a blast this morning,” said MSU Head Coach Jeff Choate. “I think our kids really showed who they are. Watching them interact was, I mean that's where I’m like, ‘I’m in the right place.’"

“These are good kids and they get it. They understand what it means to give back. Great Falls was very good to us and I hope to see a lot of these people in Bozeman in the fall. We look forward to coming back to the Triangle Classic next year."
