Mount Helena Music Festival returns on Friday and Saturday

The two-day Mount Helena Music Festival opens this Friday at 4 pm in Women's and Hill Parks in downtown Helena.  

Bruce Anfinson, with guest Brian Oberlin on mandolin, will start the festival at 5 pm. 

Scott H. Biram from Colorado headlines Friday.  

Saturday kicks off with Livingston's Little Jane and the Pistol Whips at 2:30.  

Headliner Chuck Mead takes the stage at 9 pm. 

Nine acts will perform during the two days:

Friday June 26th (Gates open at 4 pm)

5:00 pm    Bruce Anfinson with special guest Brian Oberlin (cowboy western folk with mandolin)
6:00 pm    Luke Lautaret of Marshal Catch (alternative and indie rock)
7:30 pm    Austin Lucas (country, folk)
9:00 pm    Scott H. Biram (blues, punk, country, heavy metal)

Saturday June 27th (Gates open at 2 pm)

2:30 pm    Little Jane and the Pistol Whips (Americana, country, honky-tonk and beyond)
4:30 pm    One Leaf Clover (western boogie rock)
6:00 pm    Triggers and Slips (rock, honky tonk country, and psychedelia)
7:30 pm    Bonnie Whitmore (indie, rock and Americana)
9:00 pm    Chuck Mead (country, Americana, rockabilly, folk)

The festival also features a beer and wine garden, food vendors and craft vendors. 

A backyard BBQ festival will be held as well with winners being announced during the festival.  

Two-day passes are $25 and still available online at Brown Paper Tickets, or at any of the following locations:

Birds & Beasley's (2 S. Last Chance Gulch)
Blackfoot River Brewing Company (66 S. Park Ave)
Martin's Wines (21 N Last Chance Gulch)
Scenic Brew Coffee (3091 N Sanders – between Montana Ave and I-15 on Custer St.)

Single-day tickets are $15 per day and are only available at the main entrance the day of the Festival.
