HELENA -- A suspect accused of breaking into the R-B Drive-In in Helena last year pleaded guilty in Lewis & Clark County District Court Thursday.

Alec Anthony Leon was arrested in May 2014 following a break-in at the Helena Avenue eatery.

Several suspects broke into the business and when the owner posted security camera images on Facebook, Leon was identified.

Today in court, the 19-year old admitted that he broke into the drive-in to steal money. He was given a 6-year suspended sentence in that case.

Leon was already on probation for selling Xanax and Rivotril; for which he received a 5-year suspended sentence for distribution of dangerous drugs.

Leon was also ordered to enter and complete Drug Treatment Court.

(July 17, 2014) Damian Matthew Hixson, the 17-year old suspect accused of breaking into the RB Drive-In in May, was given a deferred sentence on Wednesday.

Hixson pleaded guilty on Wednesday morning to felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal mischief.

Hixson is accused of breaking the door of the restaurant and damaging surveillance cameras with two other suspects. No cash was taken.

Hixson was identified when the owner of the restaurant posted photos of the break-in on Facebook.

Hixson's lawyer told the court that the defendant has already personally paid most of what it cost to repair the damage to the business.

Before he was given his sentence, Hixson told Judge Mike Menahan that he wants to finish high school and go to college.
