HELENA - Korri Duane Galbraith was arrested after he reportedly ordered a man to leave the Unique Apparel store in Helena, and then followed him in his car and threatened him with a gun on Wednesday.
Police say Galbraith followed the man, who was on foot, aimed the gun at his head, and threatened to kill him.
Galbraith, 32, made an initial appearance in Justice Court on Friday, charged with felony assault with a weapon.
During his court appearance Galbraith said the victim stole from the store and assaulted his mother, and he told him he had a gun and if he returned, there would be problems.
His bond was set at $50,000.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Friday.
UPDATE: Galbraith left the following comment on this article: "I'm not an employee of Unique Apparel. I work for environmental management services. I have for over ten years. When I don't have a contract to complete I help my mother at her shop. She doesn't employ me or pay me any wages. I do it to keep from going stir crazy between jobs!"
