HELENA - You knew it was coming and if you didn't get all your Christmas shopping done before today, you were probably scrambling about town to get last minute gifts - and of course, you weren't alone.
"A little panic in some people, a little disappointment because we were sold out of some things, a little bit of gratitude because we still will gift wrap," said Amy Barrett Gilleran, owner of Lasso The Moon, a toy shop at 25 North Last Chance Gulch.
So why do people put off shopping down to the wire instead of avoiding the crunch?
"I'm a bad boyfriend," said one shopper.
"Um, because it seems most convenient, in a way," said another.
Procrastinating shoppers also had some snow to contend with.
"Kinda rough out, but people are still out - this is their last chance. So if they put it off until today, you're going to have to come out in the weather," said Amy.
