Law enforcement officials in Lewis & Clark County have spent much of Wednesday afternoon pursuing a suspect involved in the theft of a vehicle.
The pursuit took place in the Helena Valley and resulted in several roads being blocked off in the area of Forestvale and Sierra.
Two suspects are now in custody and officers are looking for the third suspect who they believe is in the stolen vehicle.
The Helena Police department is assisting the Lewis & Clark County sheriff's office in the investigation.
The vehicle is a 1988 or 1989 Dodge flatbed pickup, blue and silver in color, with some chipped paint, license plate number 5C-07551A.
Law enforcement advises anyone who comes in contact with the vehicle to not approach it and notify authorities immediately.
We have heard several unconfirmed reports that Rossiter school was briefly placed in lockdown due to the police activity.
Authorities have not yet released the names of any of the three people.
We will update you as we learn more.
UPDATE: The third suspect has been taken into custody.
