Michael B. Loftis, a 35-year-old Helena valley man, has been missing for nearly two weeks and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him.
Loftis was reported missing by his wife on January 16th.
According to reports the couple had a confrontation and Mr. Loftis left.
Lewis & Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton said, "It's been reported that he could possibly be in the area of Superior, Montana, or here locally. He was last seen driving a 2005 Silver Porsche Cayenne-S, license plate Montana 5-13825A."
Loftis also reportedly bought a gun at Capital Sports & Western the day before he disappeared.

UPDATE, January 30 Michael B. Loftis, a 35-year-old Helena valley man, has been found dead in a wooded area near Superior.
Loftis had been missing for nearly two weeks and authorities had asked for the public's help in locating him.

Loftis reportedly bought a gun at Capital Sports & Western the day before he disappeared.
The Mineral County Sheriff's Office found out Loftis was reported to be in the Superior area and a search and rescue team started looking for him.
They found Loftis' body in his in his car on Saturday in a wooded area northwest of Superior.
The Mineral County Sheriff said on Monday morning that foul play is not suspected.
