Katie made her television news debut in Great Falls quite a while ago when a reporter came to her kindergarten class at Lewis & Clark Elementary and she got to sign-off with "Reporting in Great Falls, I'm Katie Stukey." Well, it must have been destiny because 17 years later, Katie is excited to be reporting for KRTV in her home town of Great Falls.

Katie spent time at college in Minnesota, Australia, and finally back in the Big Sky state finishing school as a proud Grizzly. She spent her time in college working as a reporter for the campus radio station, KBGA, as a campus minister, and as a cook & counselor at summer camp on Salmon Lake. While in Missoula, Katie fell back in love with the spirit and community of Montana, along with hiking and sushi.

When Katie's not out on a story, she enjoys beating her parents at Boggle, cooking, sewing, cheering at Griz football games, watching the 10 seasons of Friends, traveling as much as possible, and simply being with close family & friends.

Katie is so happy to be back in the town where she got her roots. She continues to enjoy the warmth & enthusiasm of the people in Great Falls. She looks forward to running into more old friends, as well as always creating new relationships. Katie encourages anyone to drop her a line with story ideas or simply to say hello.
