After a series of town-hall meeting for district planning, the Helena Public School Board was presented the final summary of draft recommendations from Mosaic Architecture and were able to ask questions.
Principal of Mosaic Architecture, Ben Tintinger, named a few draft recommendations most likely to appear on the final recommendations from in January: replacing Bryant School and Jim Darcy, and a new school out in the Valley.
Additionally for high schools, a priority would be a new Career Technical Education facility for the district.
Trustees also talked about educating the taxpayers on the cost of funding these potential projects.
"We're at a place where we really need to do a lot and we need to make sure our community understands the need and the impact on student learning that the projects that we come up with will have," said Trustee Ellen Feaver.
