Back to American football, where the Grizzlies have their sights set on avoiding a let down at Sacramento State this week. Sac State has never beaten Montana, this will mark the fifteenth meeting between the two programs.

This year the Hornets have had to lean on a sophomore at running back because of injuries. But they've been stable at quarterback for the last couple seasons with junior Jason Smith starting under center for the third straight year.

Bobby Hauck, "I think he's an improved player, he's had games where he's put up good numbers and I think he's pretty good running the football even though he's not looking run it a bunch, he's more staying alive and delivering the ball. You know, he's a good, solid football player and he can hurt you a lot of different ways."

Alex Shaw, "They have good players, I don't really see a standout they're a good team so there's ano one player that stands out because when you have a good team it's usually a collection of good players so there's no real standout but it looks like a good team."

Bobby Hauck, "Year in, year out they tend to upset one of the better teams in our league that comes to Sacramento so we want to try to avoid that this weekend."
