If you're heading to the Griz football game in Missoula on Saturday, the folks with the Montana Meth Project hope you'll be decked out in black.

The organization is joining forces with UM for the first time to spread the word about the risks of methamphetamine use. Griz fans are asked to wear black in support of the Meth Project's prevention message.

UM's marching band will be wearing black uniforms and organizers say some other surprises are in the works both on the field and around the stadium.

Bill Slaugher of the Montana Meth Project says that although meth use is down, there's still more to be done, telling us, "Meth use is down 63% in Montana since 2005. What a great accomplishment, but there's a lot of risk out there and still a lot of meth out there in in Montana, so our kids are at risk."

Kickoff for the Grizzlies home opener against Western State College is Saturday at 1:05 p.m. at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

You can also watch the game on Montana's CW television network.
