As expansion continues across the NCAA, tomorrow the possibility will be surely be discussed when Frontier Conference officials meet with the Dakota Athletic Conference. The DAC has dropped from ten teams to just four, but Carroll AD Bruce Parker says not to expect a Frontier expansion just yet.
Bruce Parker, Carroll College Athletic Director, "I don't even think we're to the point where we're talking about a merger. We're going over to listen to what their needs are and the type of situation that they're in right now. Our conference is really spread out, we go all the way out to La Grande, Oregon and we're in Lewiston, Idaho and Salt Lake City, Utah so for us to look at teams in the DAC Conference with trips to Valley City and Jamestown and Dickinson, there's a lot of travel involved so we just have to see what they need right now, they might not even be talking about a merger."
Before any mergers are made, officials from both conferences would have to approve them unanimously.
