East Helena Police are looking for a suspect in casino robbery that took place very early on Monday.
Montana Lil's Casino reported the robbery around 1:00 a.m.
According to police, the suspect entered the casino, brandished a weapon, and asked the clerk for her money pouch.
The suspect then asked for more money and followed the clerk behind the cage of the casino, where he reportedly threatened her to hand over the money in ten seconds.
Dale Aschim, East Helena Police Chief, said, "You know this is extremely serious to begin with, but when you start doing a countdown as to dropping the money from the machine and everything, it's just kind of like he knows a little bit about how the operation works."
Aschim said the clerk complied and the suspect left out the same door with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber reportedly fled on foot west towards Heritage Food Store. Officers searched the area but found nothing.
They believe he may have had an accomplice.
Investigators are using surveillance video to get a more precise description.
The suspect is described as a white male between 18 and 24 years old, between 5'8 and 5'10, thin build, wearing faded-front blue jeans and tennis shoes. He was wearing a black t-shirt and a knit hat with a blue bandanna pulled over his face.
