Chilly air lingers today but warmer days are ahead

A warm front moving through this morning is bringing milder temperatures back to the Helena Valley.

In fact, most places across the Valley are starting off about 20 to 25 degrees warmer this morning.

Although it will be milder today, highs will still remain below freezing under mostly cloudy skies.

The weather pattern through the rest of the week will feature a northwesterly flow aloft which will bring breezy winds from time to time along with warmer temperatures. Highs will warm into the mid and upper 30s through Friday.

Dry weather will continue with mostly sunny skies.

Another cold front will arrive by the weekend bringing a renewed shot of Canadian air and slight chances for snow. Temperatures will tumble back into the 20s Saturday into Sunday.

Have a great day!
