The Montana Catholic Conference is hosting a two day conference this weekend to promote a message of life.

40 Days for Life co-founder Shawn Carney is one of four nationally recognized speakers at the Affirming the Culture of Life Conference.

"The whole conference will focus on the dignity of the human person, from conception until natural death. So they are going to talk about euthanasia, certainly abortion and the death penalty. Because we have to defend human life in every aspect of it," Carney says.

The conference starts at 7:00 pm Friday evening, where Carney will talk about abortion.

On Saturday the conference reconvenes with Wesley Smith, who will discuss assisted suicide, and Sister Helen Prejean, who witnessed an execution and wrote the book "Dead Man Walking."

Also scheduled to speak is Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood director, who will tell her story about abortion.
