WHITEFISH - Carroll College freshman Bailey Snelling has been named the Frontier Conference women's player of the week, announced league officials on Monday.

Snelling, the freshman guard from Judith Gap, helped lead the Saints to two road wins over the weekend. She averaged 20 points, three rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals in the victories and sank nine 3-pointers. Snelling also shot 65% from the field.

Also nominated: Lindsey Abramson of the University of Great Falls, Jordan Bruursema of Montana State-Northern, Austin Hanser of Rocky Mountain College, Nicole Tams of Montana Western, Kirsi Voshell of Lewis-Clark State and Nicole Yazzie of Westminster College.

Western's Kyle Erickson collected honors for men's player of the week.
