Chances are you received a Valentine Card, flowers, candy or a gift today, and if you didn't receive one, you may have given one.
Dave Simpkins, the owner of Leslie's Hallmark in Helena, said that next to Christmas, Valentines Day is the biggest card and gift-giving occasion of the year.
Simpkins says that recordable cards and books are among the hot sellers this year.
He explained, "So you can record your voice in a book and it will be recorded forever, so it's a really nice keepsake for Valentine's Day and forever."
Simkins says his largest sales made on this day are flowers and then cards and other gift items such as stuffed animals.
He adds that you will always find a lot of men in his stores on this day, as they are notorious for waiting until the last minute to get something for their sweethearts.
