A Butte man was charged with DUI after crashing a pickup truck into a fire hydrant and fence, and narrowly missing a home on South Montana Street.
The crash happened at the corner of Montana and Chula, across the street from Mount Moriah Cemetery.
Bandon Skinner, 36, faces charges of driving drunk, careless driving and no insurance following the crash, Captain Doug Conway said.
Police responded to a report of the accident at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived they found the driver of the Chevy pickup still at the scene.
Skinner underwent a field sobriety test and was booked at the detention center.
