Glacier National Park officials report that Clinton Croff, a 30-year-old Browning man, died Thursday in the park’s Two Medicine Valley.

Croff was reportedly involved in altercations near road construction traffic on the road into Two Medicine Valley.

National Park rangers responded to the incident and found Croff combative and suffering from multiple wounds.

Rangers began emergency medical treatment on Croff; shortly after, Croff collapsed and CPR was administered, but was unsuccessful.

Croff was pronounced dead of undetermined causes when the ALERT air ambulance helicopter arrived on the scene at approximately 11:30 a.m.

An autopsy is being conducted by the State Crime Lab in Missoula.
