James Guana of Billings has been charged with sexual intercourse without consent involving a boy under the age of 12.

Billings Police Lt. Mark Kirkpatrick says Gauna was arrested on Thursday night.

According to police reports, 24-year old Gauna developed a relationship with the victim centered around playing video games on the internet.

He allegedly got the boys online name and was able to talk to him while playing internet video games.

Two weeks into the relationship Gauna met the victim at his elementary school and asked the boy if he wanted to hang out.

Gauna managed to lure the boy to the area of the irrigation ditch by 17th Street West, where he then allegedly raped the minor.

The victim was eventually able to get away from Gauna and ran home.

Gauna was booked and is being held at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility.

You are right. One thing that needs to happen is that this family and their child are going to need a lot of help. If it were my child I don't think this man would still be alive. It is amazing how many of our children and grand children are playing on-line video games. Many of our children think they are playing against other children. God Bless this family. Because of one sick person their whole life is changing.
