A strong ridge of high pressure is now sitting over the Northwest, keeping quiet weather in place.
This weekend, skies will remain clear with only a few high clouds at times.
High temperatures will reach the upper 30s and low 40s with nighttime lows in the teens.
On Monday, a cold front will push south out of Canada, dragging colder air in behind it.
We're also looking at the possibility of light snow Monday afternoon in central Montana as the colder air rolls in.
However, dry conditions are still expected in Helena.
High pressure returns to the Treasure State by Tuesday of next week, keeping skies mainly clear and warming temperatures above average again.
